No new birds

May 6th

Today was a miserable, cold, rainy day.  It was also a catch-up day at home and a time for Mike’s yoga class and my mahjong game.  Late this afternoon Mike went for a walk at Wildwood Metropark and saw a fledgling Great-horned Owl.  I met him, brought the camera, and he took a nice picture. At the windows on wildlife at Wildwood, Mike got a photo of an Ovenbird.

We decided to take a drive to the lakeshore with lots of wind and rain.  We were about the only crazies out there.  We didn’t see much of anything except two Bald Eagles who looks every wet and cold perched on a fallen tree.  No new birds today.
